Employment Opportunities

We are looking for friendly, hard-working, energetic, motivated individuals to work during the fall season at CornDodgers Farm! There are several positions available from corn cop to gem mine operator to concessions and much more. Many positions are outdoors. Weekend and weekday positions are available. You must be at least 16 years of age and be able to provide your own transportation. Must be available nights and weekends for 6 weeks. A drug test will also be required upon offer of employment.

• Corn Cops
  Corn Cops perform a variety of functions on the farm from patrolling the maze, operating corn cannon and cow train, parking, policing attractions, and clean up, just to name a few.  Must be friendly, hardworking, and flexible.
• Cashiers
  Cashiers are primarily responsible for greeting customers, keeping your area clean and neat, and balancing your cash drawer.  You may perform other duties as the need arises.  Only smiling faces accepted!
• Gem Mine Operator
  Operating the Lost Yer Mine takes a lot of personality.  I mean, have you seen the thing?  Must be able to interact with people of all ages and balance a cash drawer.
• Zip line operator
  The Pumpkin Express is brand spankin’ new and needs an operator like you!  Must be able to work outdoors with children and manage a crowd.  Your primary objective is that everyone has a safe, fun time on the zip line.  This includes frequent equipment inspections and line management.
• Food service
  A good time begins with good food!  We are looking for staff members for the all new Rustic Rooster and The Crooked Porch bakery.  Must be able to follow instructions the first time they are given and keep up with a rapid pace of food production while not sacrificing quality or accuracy.
• Field Trip Attendant
  Field trips begin September 24 and run through November 16, Monday through Friday 9-1.  Applicants must be flexible as far as position assigned.  Cashiers, food service, cow train operators, slide attendants, and corn cannon operators needed.

The application must be completed by the applicant. Applications or calls from parents asking for positions for children will not be accepted. All applications must be submitted via online form. We will not accept “random” drop-ins at the farm. We will begin reviewing applications on August 1. Please do not call about your application prior to this date.
